K\u00f5ige enam kahju teeb neile UV-kiirgus, mille lainepikkus j\u00e4\u00e4b vahemikku 100\u2013400 nm, mis ei ole inimsilmale n\u00e4htava valguse piirides (380\u2013700 nm). Kahjuliku valguse elimineerimiseks kasutatakse UV-kaitsekilesid, mis paigaldatakse peamiselt aknaklaasi sisepinnale, kuid nendega v\u00f5ib katta ka vitriinide klaase. Saadaval on ka valgustitele m\u00f5eldud UV-kaitsekiled, kuid t\u00e4nap\u00e4eval on lihtsam valida UV-kiirguse vabad valgusallikad. UV-kaitsekilede soetamisel tuleb arvestada jooksvate p\u00fcsikuludega. Iga 10\u201315 aasta tagant (tulenevalt toote spetsifikatsioonist) v\u00e4heneb j\u00e4rk-j\u00e4rgult kilede kaitsev\u00f5ime, mist\u00f5ttu need tuleb v\u00e4lja vahetada. Elektromagnetlainete spekter<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UV-kaitsekilesid on mitut t\u00fc\u00fcpi. Muuseumide keskkonnas on enim kasutust leidnud klaarid UV-kiirgust neelavat orgaanilist kihti sisaldavad pol\u00fcesterkiled (alusmaterjalina on kasutatud ka Mylar-, atsetaat- ja vin\u00fc\u00fclkloriidkilet). Orgaaniline kiht kiles muudab UV-kiirguse kuumuseks, mis v\u00f5ib omakorda tekitada klaasis pingeid ja p\u00f5hjustada m\u00f5ranemist. Klaasile on v\u00e4hem koormavaks metalliseeritud UV-kaitsekiled, mis peegeldavad enamiku valgusest tagasi ja elimineerivad lisaks UV-kiirgusele ka osaliselt n\u00e4htavat valgust, kuid nende paigaldamine ajaloolistele hoonetele ei ole alati lubatud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UV-kaitsekilede soetamisel tuleb uurida, millisele lainepikkusele on toode v\u00e4lja t\u00f6\u00f6tatud. Enamik kilesid takistab UV-kiirgust lainepikkusel vahemikus 200 \u2013 380 nm, millest k\u00f5rgem j\u00e4\u00e4b katmata. Paljud tooted ei ole ka m\u00f5eldud muuseumi n\u00f5udeid rahuldama. Kindluse m\u00f5ttes on soovitatav l\u00e4bi viia materjalikatsetused UV-Vis-spektroskoopia abil.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iLpXtZCVICs?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=et&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Video 1. valguse kahjulikkusest muuseumis<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Muuseumi keskkonnas on sobiv k\u00e4ep\u00e4rasemate vahenditega kontrollida UV-kaitsekilede efektiivsust luksmeetri abil. Eesti Rahva Muuseumis on selleks kasutusel firma Tenmaris luksmeeter TM-208, mis v\u00f5imaldab m\u00f5\u00f5ta loomulikku, kunstlikku ja\u00a0 n\u00e4htamatut valgust (UVA). Tuleb arvestada, et seadmetel on tootja antud kindlad parameetrid, millistel lainepikkustel seade t\u00e4pseid tulemusi annab.
