Oma ala t\u00f5elise <em>grand old lady <\/em>s\u00fcnnist m\u00f6\u00f6dub 13. oktoobril 105 aastat. Linda Petti (1918-2000) arhiiv, fotod ja raamatud anti perekonna poolt ERM-ile \u00fcle 2007. aastal. Petti arhiivkogu (ERM Ak 13) materjalid ja fotod on olnud kasutajatele k\u00e4ttesaadavad juba m\u00f5nda aega.\u00a0 ERM-i raamatukogus on n\u00fc\u00fcdseks korrastatud ja k\u00f5igile huvilistele k\u00e4ttesaadavaks tehtud ka Linda Pettile kuulunud raamatud (ligi 400 tr\u00fckist).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">P\u00f5hjalikumalt saab Linda Petti elust ja tegevusest lugeda \u00dclle Juki poolt kirjutatud artiklitest toidublogis <a href=\"https:\/\/nami-nami.ee\/uudis\/linda_petti\/\">Nami-Nam<\/a>i (2019) ja <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.erm.ee\/?p=324\">ERM-i blogis<\/a> (2012). ERM-i arhivaarilt Kristi Umalaselt (\u00dctt) on ilmunud Linda Pettit ja tema arhiivimaterjale tutvustav artikkel ajalehes V\u00e4rat nr. 2(10), 29. septembrist 2011, samuti lugu <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.erm.ee\/?p=298\">ERM-i blogis<\/a> (2012).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Linda Petti raamatuid korrastades ja kataloogides j\u00e4i silma, et temaatiliselt moodustavad kogust suure osa erinevate maade rahvusk\u00f6\u00f6ke k\u00e4sitlevad kokaraamatud alates Ameerikast kuni Euroopa, Aafrika ja Aasiani v\u00e4lja. Keelte poolest on enim esindatud saksakeelsed kokaraamatud, aga on ka inglise, soome, prantsuse, poola, t\u0161ehhi, slovaki ja venekeelseid. Toidu-uurija \u00dclle Juki arvates on Petti selle s\u00f5na ise v\u00e4lja m\u00f5elnud (<a href=\"https:\/\/nami-nami.ee\/uudis\/linda_petti\/\">Nami-Nami blogi, 2012<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proua Petti kirglikkus ja p\u00f5hjalikkus toidumaailma vastu paistab v\u00e4lja ka talle kuulunud raamatutest. Petti t\u00f6\u00f6tas ja t\u00f6\u00f6tles erialased raamatud s\u00f5na otseses m\u00f5ttes kaanest kaaneni l\u00e4bi: joonis olulisi l\u00f5ike alla, tegi raamatutesse rikkalikult m\u00e4rkmeid ja m\u00e4rkusi, lisas raamatute vahele lugematul hulgal k\u00e4sikirjalisi m\u00e4rkmelehti ja\u00a0 j\u00e4rjehoidjaid. Raamatukogunduslikku ettevalmistust ja huvi<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">v\u00f5ib muu hulgas m\u00e4rgata sellest, et Petti joonis tiitellehel alla tr\u00fckikordused ja ilmumisaastad, ta signeeris peaaegu alati raamatud kuup\u00e4eva, aasta ja initsiaalidega. Foto: Arp Karm<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Petti proovis tihti kokaraamatute retsepte l\u00e4bi \u2013 seda on n\u00e4ha m\u00e4rkmetest retseptide juures: \u201erohkem soola\u201c v\u00f5i \u201easendada r\u00f5\u00f5sa koorega\u201c, \u201ep\u00e4ris hea\u201c, \u201esobib\u201c, aga harvad polnud\u00a0 ka \u201eei k\u00f5lba\u201c v\u00f5i \u201epole midagi erilist\u201c. M\u00f5nedesse raamatutesse kleepis Petti k\u00e4sikirjalisi retseptilehti ja fotosid valmistatud roogadest. Linda Petti kogus toiduteemalisi v\u00e4ljal\u00f5ikeid ajakirjanduses ilmunud artiklitest, kohviku- ja restoraniarvustustest, mis leidsid v\u00e4ga tihti koha vastava teema raamatute vahel. Kuid Petti hoidis nii-\u00f6elda k\u00e4tt pulsil ka mitmesugustel \u00fchiskondlikel teemadel \u2013 p\u00e4ris paljud v\u00e4ljal\u00f5iked k\u00e4sitlesid muid aktuaalseid probleeme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kokandusiidoli raamatud on tema p\u00f5hjalikest, t\u00e4psetest ja tihtilugu naljaga v\u00fcrtsitatud m\u00e4rkmetest pungil.
