Mida see t\u00e4hendab konserveerimise valdkonnas? Mis on roheline keemia?<\/p>\n<p>Konserveerimise m\u00f5te on kultuuriv\u00e4\u00e4rtuste s\u00e4ilitamine, kus p\u00fc\u00fctakse aeglustada esemete vananemisega kaasnevaid protsesse ja k\u00f5rvaldada kahjustusi. Esmalt l\u00e4htutakse konserveerimiseetikast, siis s\u00e4ilitamise p\u00f5him\u00f5tetest ning seej\u00e4rel keskkonnahoiust laiemalt.<\/p>\n<p>Meetodid ja vahendid on viimaste aastak\u00fcmnete jooksul muutunud j\u00e4rjest enam inim- ja keskkonnas\u00f5bralikumaks, kuid paratamatult on puhastust\u00f6\u00f6tluse k\u00e4igus vaja kasutada mingeid lahusteid ja aineid. Kliimamuutuste leevendamine ja keskkonnahoiu aktuaalsus sunnib ka keemiat\u00f6\u00f6stust muutma oma m\u00f5tteviisi, mis puudutab toodete ja protsesside arendamist. Roheline keemia otsibki v\u00f5imalusi v\u00e4hendada ohtlike, m\u00fcrgiste ainete kasutamist ja j\u00e4\u00e4tmete teket. Eesm\u00e4rk on luua lahusteid energiaefektiivselt, taastuvatest v\u00f5i biomassist p\u00e4rit l\u00e4hteainest, mis oleksid madala v\u00f5i t\u00fchise toksilisusega ning biolagunevad.<\/p>\n<p>Kemikaali klassifitseerimisel roheliseks hinnatakse selle keskkonna-, tervise- ja ohutusaspekte (nt keskkonnap\u00fcsivus, toksilisus, kantserogeensus, ringlusse v\u00f5tmine) ning kogu eluts\u00fckli (tootmine, rakendamine, taaskasutamine, k\u00f5rvaldamine) energiavajadust. Infot aine potentsiaalsest ohust inimese tervisele ja keskkonnale ning k\u00e4sitsemisjuhiseid annab kemikaali ohutuskaart, kuid rohelisuse hindamisel on sellest v\u00e4he. Konservaatoritel tuleb toetuda lahusti rohelisuse ja sobivuse \u00fcle otsustamisel uurimisinstituutide anal\u00fc\u00fcsidele. Selleks on vaja koost\u00f6\u00f6d rohelise keemia ekspertide vahel akadeemilistest ringkondadest, t\u00f6\u00f6stusest ja avalik-\u00f5iguslikest asutustest. Konserveerimiseetika ei luba lihtsalt katsetada museaalide peal ja vaadata, kas \u201epatsient\u201c tunneb ennast sellest paremini v\u00f5i mitte. Vastastikku infot ja teadmisi jagades on v\u00f5imalik leida ohutumaid v\u00f5imalusi ning meetodeid.<\/p>\n<p>Praegu on parimaks lahenduseks lahustite asendamine geelis\u00fcsteemidega. Geelid suudavad hoida endas suurt kogust vedelikke ning vabastada neid j\u00e4rk-j\u00e4rgult, mis omakorda v\u00f5imaldab v\u00e4hendada t\u00f6\u00f6tlemiseks kuluvat lahustite kogust. Geelidesse saab lisada ka ens\u00fc\u00fcme, mis on efektiivsed ja selektiivsed. Nii muutub eseme puhastamine kontrollituks ja mitteinvasiivseks. Paraku ei turustata neid kasutusvalmis kujul ning sageli ei ole need lihtsalt k\u00e4ttesaadavad, kergesti valmistatavad ega ka s\u00e4ili(tata)vad, r\u00e4\u00e4kimata sellest, et nende valik on kirju. ERMis oleme siiani kasutanud viite geelimoodustajat ja \u00fchte ens\u00fc\u00fcmi ning tulemustega rahul, seda paljuski t\u00e4nu v\u00f5imalusele \u00f5ppida kellegi teise katsetustest. Ja ikkagi, kui s\u00fcsinikuneutraalne see on? Praegu loetakse orgaanilistest lahustitest roheliseks vett, alkohole ja estreid, m\u00f5ningase m\u00f6\u00f6ndusega ka m\u00f5ningaid biop\u00f5hiseid ketoone ja eetreid. Isegi destilleeritud vesi ei ole roheline, kuna selle tootmine on energiamahukas. Samuti on teemaks r\u00f5ivaste keemiline puhastus, kus klassikaliselt kasutatav perklooret\u00fcleen on ebasoovitatav.<\/p>\n<p>Kuidas eemaldada roheliselt t\u00f5rksat mustust r\u00f5ivastelt, millele veega pesu ei sobi?
