Tegemist on kirikukunsti objektiga, mis on j\u00f5udnud muuseumisse 1939. aastal.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>\u00a0 Kirja pandi see altarina, kuigi pigem v\u00f5iks seda pidada epitaafiks<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a> v\u00f5i epitaafretaabliks<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>. Mikko<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ERMi endise t\u00f6\u00f6taja, kunstiajaloolase Helmi \u00dcpruse<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a> m\u00e4lestuste p\u00f5hjal j\u00f5udis ehissein muuseumisse seoses baltisakslaste massilise lahkumisega kusagilt P\u00f5hja-Eesti m\u00f5isast. Kuid millisest m\u00f5isast ja mis p\u00f5hjusel v\u00f5is selline kirikukunsti objekt m\u00f5isa sattuda? Paiga kohta ei ole v\u00f5imalik olemasolevate andmete p\u00f5hjal vastust leida, aga p\u00f5hjusena v\u00f5ib tuua kiriku h\u00e4vimise p\u00f5lengus<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>. Sein suudeti p\u00e4\u00e4sta ja viidi selle tellinud aadli perekonna m\u00f5isa hoiule, kuid see on siiski ainult h\u00fcpotees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kuidas see ERMi sattus, on v\u00f5imalik aga andmete p\u00f5hjal oletada. Nimelt sai 1939. aasta oktoobris alguse haridusministeeriumi korraldatud baltisakslastele kuuluvate kunsti ja kultuurivarade hindamine ning vajadusel kinnipidamine. Haridusministeeriumi kunsti ja kultuuriv\u00e4\u00e4rtuste v\u00e4ljaveo haldamise komisjoni<a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a> liikmed<a href=\"#_ftn8\" name=\"_ftnref8\">[8]<\/a>, k\u00e4isid l\u00e4bi baltisakslaste linnakorterid ja m\u00f5isad. Otsiti esemeid, mida m\u00f5isnikelt ministeeriumi rahaga \u00e4ra osta v\u00f5i paluda, et need deponeeritaks muuseumitesse.<a href=\"#_ftn9\" name=\"_ftnref9\">[9]<\/a> Haridusministeeriumi t\u00f6\u00f6tajate koostatud nimekirjadest on t\u00e4naseks rahvusarhiivis s\u00e4ilinud vaid m\u00f5ned lehek\u00fcljed sellistest kunstivaradest<a href=\"#_ftn10\" name=\"_ftnref10\">[10]<\/a>. Enamik katalooge h\u00e4vis Teises maailmas\u00f5jas tolliladude p\u00f5lengutes, koos suurema osa teiste varadega.<a href=\"#_ftn11\" name=\"_ftnref11\">[11]<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Haridusministeeriumi eestvedamisel v\u00f5tsid baltisakslaste esemete kogumisretkedest osa ka ERMi t\u00f6\u00f6tajad. P\u00f5hja-Eesti m\u00f5isates k\u00e4isid neid kogumas direktor Ferdinand Linnus ja kunstiajaloolane Kara Wilberg<a href=\"#_ftn12\" name=\"_ftnref12\">[12]<\/a>. Nende v\u00e4lit\u00f6\u00f6p\u00e4evikutes ei leidu infot selle ehisseina kohta, kuigi muud p\u00f5nevat teavet on palju. Arvatavasti saatsid selle seina Tartu poole teele haridusministeeriumi kunstiajaloolased, kuna Linnuse ja Wilbergi kogumisretked kestsid vaid l\u00fchikest aega.<a href=\"#_ftn13\" name=\"_ftnref13\">[13]<\/a> V\u00f5imalik, et ministeeriumi t\u00f6\u00f6tajatel oli suus\u00f5naline kokkulepe saata ERMi t\u00f6\u00f6tajate kogumisretkedel maha j\u00e4\u00e4nud esemed Raadile j\u00e4rele.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sein v\u00f5eti muuseumisse arvele Veski t\u00e4naval asunud muuseumi hoones<a href=\"#_ftn14\" name=\"_ftnref14\">[14]<\/a> alles 1971. aastal. Mis puudutab selle ajalugu ja p\u00e4ritolu, siis k\u00fcsisid koguhoidjad 1971. aastal konsultatsiooni endiselt t\u00f6\u00f6tajalt Helmi \u00dcpruselt, kes koostas ka selle stiilikriitilise kirjelduse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Koguhoidjate ja Helmi \u00dcpruse arvatavas koost\u00f6\u00f6s valminud kirjelduse p\u00f5hjal on tegemist ajavahemikus 1690\u20131700 valminud P\u00f5hja-Eesti arhitektoonilise \u00fclesehitusega nn rankenaltari<a href=\"#_ftn15\" name=\"_ftnref15\">[15]<\/a> t\u00fc\u00fcpi retaabliga. Oma 1971. aasta kirjas koguhoidjatele avaldas Helmi \u00dcprus arvamust, et tegemist v\u00f5ib-olla ainsa s\u00e4ilinud ovaalse keskmega retaabliga, mis arvatavasti p\u00e4rineb Christian Ackermanni t\u00f6\u00f6kojast. Armbrust 1691. aastal Stockholmist Narva, et abistada skulptoril ja kiviraiduril Johann Georg Heroldil<a href=\"#_ftn18\" name=\"_ftnref18\">[18]<\/a> nikerdada Jaani kiriku pinki. Kuid meistrite t\u00fcli ja kohtus k\u00e4imise t\u00f5ttu ei saanud Armbrust Narva linna vabameistrina j\u00e4\u00e4da.<a href=\"#_ftn19\" name=\"_ftnref19\">[19]<\/a> T\u00fcli p\u00f5hjuseks oli Armbrusti k\u00f5rge eneseteadlikkus, proklameerides puuskulptuuri mitte lihtsalt k\u00e4sit\u00f6\u00f6ks vaid \u201evabaks kunstiks\u201c.<a href=\"#_ftn20\" name=\"_ftnref20\">[20]<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Narvast lahkunud J. Armbrust l\u00e4ks Tallinna ja palus seal luba vabameistrina tegutseda. Tallinna magistraat rahuldas tema palve.<a href=\"#_ftn21\" name=\"_ftnref21\">[21]<\/a> M\u00f5lemad, nii C. Ackermann kui ka J. Armbrust olid Tallinnas vabameistrid. Ackermann sai vabameistriks aastaid varem, gildide ja all-linna seaduste m\u00f5jupiirkonnast lahkumisega. J. Armbrust aga saavutas oma vabaduse t\u00e4nu tema sissetallatud rajale. \u00a0Ta tegutses Tallinnas v\u00e4hemalt 13 aastat. 1692. aastal sai ta raelt tellimuse l\u00f5petada Elert Thiele alustatud raesaali nikerdfriis.<a href=\"#_ftn22\" name=\"_ftnref22\">[22]<\/a> T\u00f6\u00f6 l\u00f5petas ta 1696. aastal, kusjuures nikerdfriisi \u00fchel v\u00e4iksemal paneelil on kujutatud peitliga meistrit ennast kahe tiibadega inglipea vahel. Sellist enese kujutamist toetab ka meistri, kohalikes oludes harva esinevat, k\u00f5rkust oma \u201ekunsti\u201c eest seismisel.<a href=\"#_ftn23\" name=\"_ftnref23\">[23]<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Juba j\u00e4rgmisel aastal valmis Armbrusti k\u00e4e all ka Rootsi-Mihkli kiriku epitaafretaabel, mis on k\u00f5rgbarokile iseloomuliku suurejoonelise lihtsuse poolest toomkiriku altari k\u00f5rval teine stiilipuhas n\u00e4ide.<a href=\"#_ftn24\" name=\"_ftnref24\">[24]<\/a> Armbrustile on omistatud ka 1700. aastatel valminud Tallinna Niguliste kiriku ehisseina v\u00e4\u00e4rispaneelid, (h\u00e4vinud), mis j\u00e4i arvatavasti tema \u00fcheks viimaseks t\u00f6\u00f6ks. Armbrusti paneelid olid 17. sajandi Eestis valminud nikerdkunsti tippteoseid.<a href=\"#_ftn25\" name=\"_ftnref25\">[25]<\/a> N\u00fc\u00fcd v\u00f5ib autori arvates<a href=\"#_ftn26\" name=\"_ftnref26\">[26]<\/a> talle omistada ka ERMi kogudesse kuuluva ehisseina. Ornamendi k\u00e4sitluse ja l\u00f5ike poolest v\u00f5ib \u00f6elda, et see valmis Rootsi-Mihkli kiriku epitaafretaabli ja Niguliste kiriku v\u00e4\u00e4rispaneelide valmimise vahel 1697\u20131700. Armbrust on kasutanud Rootsi-Mihkli kiriku epitaafaltarile sarnaseid tisleritehnikaid ja akantuse voluutidega murdviil jagab viimasega sarnast joont.
